The Details:
Screen printed design on a 100% ringspun cotton Comfort Colors heavyweight tee. This high-quality shirt consists of pre-shrunk, soft-washed, garment-dyed fabric. We are currently offering sizes unisex small through 2X. (Sizes 3X and 4X coming soon!) These shirts have a comfortable, relaxed fit. Go up 1-2 sizes for an oversized look. All samples pictured are made on the color shirt that we feel best suits the design; however, you can put the design on any color shirt that we are currently offering. Inspired by God's word, designed with love by The Weary Wildflower.
The Heart:
The opening verses of John's Gospel are so poetic and beautiful, especially when you think about their parallel to the story of creation at the opening of Genesis. There was nothing but darkness until God commanded light to separate that darkness. John refers to Jesus as the light of the world. Without Jesus, without light, there would only be darkness. Jesus also refers to us as the light in the world in the Sermon on the Mount. Matthew 5:14-16 (NIV) “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." When the light of Jesus enters our being and our hearts, it cannot stay hidden. We are to shine His likeness outward and onto others. Jesus calls us to emulate Him and cast out the darkness of our world.
